Facilitating the democratic process - it's important to us.

At Mackenzie Elvin we have firm beliefs that people should be well-informed and be given the opportunity to have a say in things which might impact on them.

We were proud to be associated with the NZ Votes debate programme which was facilitated across the country by the Maxim Institute.  Mackenzie Elvin sponsored and organised the Tauranga region candidates' debate, which included both the Tauranga and Western Bay of Plenty electorates.

The purpose of the debate was to enable voters to find out about key election issues and to compare the policies of each political party.  It was a facilitation of the democratic process and ensured that the general public had the opportunity to make an informed decision on election day.
