Carolyne has seven years of legal experience advising clients on property and
commercial matters as well as assisting with family and relationship property issues.

Her particular area of interest is property law and commercial property transactions
including conveyancing, subdivisions, leasing and the sale and purchase of
businesses. She considers that her relationship property experience adds a valuable
level of depth to the advice she is able to give in these areas.

In addition to working as a lawyer, Carolyne has also enjoyed teaching first year law
students for the University of Waikato Law School.

Outside of work, Carolyne enjoys getting into the outdoors with her family.

Evan has been a legal executive for over twenty years, working for law firms in Levin, Wellington and Tauranga, as well as a corporate trustee company.

Specifically employed by Mackenzie Elvin to manage and administer trusts and estates, Evan ensures the clients understand the processes and that they receive the highest level of service and support. 

Evan spends most of his spare time with his family enjoying the children’s sport and schooling activities. He's an avid Hurricanes supporter, a keen fisherman and gardener and a part-time golfer.

Ilati is married with four young children.  When he’s not at the office he enjoys spending time with his family making the most of the area’s sun, surf and outdoor’s lifestyle.  Ilati accepts instructions in all of the areas set out above.  Of family law, he says:

Anna is a qualified legal executive with over 13  years experience in law firms in London and New Zealand.  Anna started her legal career in Queenstown where she specialised in conveyancing, private client refinancing and estate work.  After a four years working in law firms in London, Anna returned to  Queenstown and then in 2007, moved to Tauranga and joined Mackenzie Elvin.  Anna’s wide range of experience allows her to look at a transaction from all angles and identify potential issues  at the outset.  During her time at Mackenzie Elvin, Anna has gained a reputation as a trusted conveyancing specialist who provides timely, professional service to her clients.  

 During her spare time Anna enjoys boating with her fiancé and young family and meeting up with friends to enjoy the wonderful weather the Bay has to offer.
