Mackenzie Elvin

Joan was born and educated in South Taranaki and comes from a farming family. She has more than 20 years of Solicitors Trust Accounting experience in five different firms and joined Mackenzie Elvin in 2005.

Julie assists in the practice management at Mackenzie Elvin, mainly in the areas of improving systems for better client service, and managing personnel matters. She has been with the firm since 2002.

Julie has had almost 20 years experience in legal firms, starting out as a legal executive in Hamilton before moving into the area of litigation management for a large firm in Wellington. Taking time out to raise children provided an opportunity to undertake extramural study and an interest in mediation led to her attaining a Graduate Diploma in Business Studies (Dispute Resolution).

Kay is originally from Waihi and after enjoying some overseas travel she married and returned there to start a small contracting business with her husband, which they ran for about twenty years. Kay has been the receptionist at Mackenzie Elvin since 2005 and is well known to our clients who value her warm friendly manner and sense of humour.

Larissa has had over twelve years of legal experience, ten of those with Mackenzie Elvin.  Her primary role is Trust Assistant to Evan Christensen.  In addition she does legal secretarial work in relation to property, estates and commercial law.
