Mackenzie Elvin

I am originally from Waihi where I completed all my schooling. After enjoying some overseas travel, I married and settled back in Waihi where we started a small contracting business which we ran for about 20 years. My responsibility was the 'paperwork' side of the business which I combined with the raising of our two beautiful daughters. I have been working as receptionist at Mackenzie Elvin for the last four years.

My passions and hobbies in life are coffee, time with good friends, reading, enjoying my family and, more recently, my adorable grandchildren

Before joining Mackenzie Elvin six years ago I worked at a solicitors office in Matamata which I began when I left school. I work part-time (two days a week) as I have two young children. We are a busy family and my husband drives stock feed trucks.

I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and enjoy rugby and love going to the beach.

I was born in Auckland and moved with my family to Tauranga in 1996. After successfully completing my secondary school education along with all levels of NCEA at Otumoetai College in 2007, I commenced employment with Mackenzie Elvin. I worked initially as an Office Assistant and then moved into the Family Law team. Recently I have moved into a Junior Secretarial role in the Commercial Law team. Mackenzie Elvin is a great firm to work for and Iook forward to continue furthering my knowledge and career with them.

In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, designing and sewing clothes, going for walks and spending time at the beach.

I gained a BSc (Business Administration) from the University of the Philippines in 1980. I worked in a large private commercial bank dealing with money market trading and foreign exchange dealing before moving to New Zealand with my husband in 1991. I joined Mackenzie Elvin in 2002 and my primary responsibility is office administration.

I have two lovely children and in my spare time I enjoy playing my acoustic guitar, curling up with a really good book or experimenting in the kitchen cooking all sorts of dishes I haven't tried before.
